I’ve registered http://twitter.com/icg with GroupTweet.
Last week, @Indychristian asked about IndyChristianGeeks participating as a group in SmallerIndiana’s upcoming BlogMOB event. Let’s gather on Monument Circle opposite Christ Cathedral.
Anyone who can stay after the event for lunch?
Scott Wilder and Alex Conner hung out at Speedway UMC on Friday night for CICSA’s Songwriters in the Round performance.

I’ll definitely give Drupal another strong look…Thanks Chris!
Admittedly we’re a geeky lot **LOL** but it’s fun & a learning time for all of us. Oh yeah, and we eat too. Together. Sometimes while podcasting, even.
Monthly. Say March 28, noon…

Come join us. There’s at least 4 Tom’s, 2 Neil’s, and some Steve’s you’d enjoy meeting.
And who knows, we just MIGHT be accelerating the Great Commission here in Indy as a result.
Our very own Scott Wilder talks to a men’s breakfast Bible study about being men of the church. Find more out about Scott at http://scottwilderweb.com.
Christ Community Church of Lamong is reaching out to Indianapolis’ inner city. Join us in helping to get some houses cleaned up. We’re meeting at the UB Cafe at 9:00 am.
About a year ago, I took my church’s directory and formated most of the members’ addresses for Google Maps and created a mash-up of sorts. We at Faith Church don’t have a mega-church, but it’s large enough (about 600 attend on Sundays) that I don’t know most people. This information shouldn’t be made public via a church’s website, but giving members access to people in their neighborhood would be a great idea.
If anyone would like some direction in this, I can help and show you a demo and how to this within a few hours.
I have been using an Instant Messenger client since BarCamp that, although it says that it’s in Beta, is (in my opinion) far better than I could imagine. It is the first desktop client that I have found that stores your usernames, settings and passwords on the server, so that if you’re like me and use multiple computers, you only have to make changes once. What about Stability? Well, it’s runtime stability is great, and the Digsby team is always making improvements. And, you would think that the updates would be annoying, right? Well, as a matter of fact, they happen (almost) silently when you launch the program. Features, they have to be missing features then, right? No. Everything you could want is available. Chat logging, multi-protocol support, social networking integration, skinning, and even Widget embeds for your web site. Ok, so what netwoks does it support? AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, GoogleTalk and Jabber. And how do I get it? Go to http://www.digsby.com and download the program. But, there’s a catch, you need an invitation code to get in. Guess what, I’ve secured one for you! Just read the last bit of this post….
